Munda Biddi Trail Community Development Project, South West Development Commission - 2011 - 2013

NBD wrote an Operational Plan to guide objectives, strategies, budgets and resource allocation for a $525,000 investment in community economic development in the South West and Great Southern Regions, through Royalties for Regions.  NBD was then appointed as Project Manager for the project.

City of Swan, Visitor Centre Relocation Study - 2012

Working in a team, NBD developed a relocation study to determine feasibility and location for a new Visitor Centre in Swan Valley.

Business Case for new WA Museum, Department of Treasury - 2010

Working with Pracsys, consulted broadly with stakeholders of the WA museum community to develop a business case and governance model for a new museum.

Business Plan, Munda Biddi Trail Foundation - 2009

NBD wrote a Five Year Business Plan to guide the operation and financial viability of this organisation. Outcomes are now being implemented including the establishment of a high profile fundraising mass participation cycle tour on the Trail.

Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation Rock Art Centre Feasibility, Tourism WA - 2007 - 2008

NBD in conjunction with Gresley Abas and Pracsys, worked with the Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation to undertake a feasibility study for a Rock Art Interpretive Centre on the Burrup Peninsula. NBD conducted market research, site assessment, and feasibility analysis and community consultation.

Hotel Pre-feasibility, Woodside Energy Limited - 2007

NBD conducted a feasibility study for the Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation to explore the viability of the Corporation operating a Motel in Karratha (on behalf of Woodside Energy).

Woodside Energy Ltd, Internal Business Operational Review - 2007 - 2008

NBD has conducted numerous feasibility and research projects on behalf of Woodside Energy Limited including assessment of a hotel development and assessment of internal business operations on behalf of the North West Shelf Joint Venture.

Yellagonga Environment Centre Feasibility, Shire of Joondalup/Wanneroo - 2006

In conjunction with Evolve Solutions, a feasibility study was undertaken to research and determine the development scenario, community aspirations and financial feasibility of the Yellagonga Environment Centre.  

Peel Development Commission, Peel Waterways Institute Feasibility - 2006

In conjunction with Evolve Solutions, a feasibility study was undertaken to research and determine the development scenario, community aspirations and financial feasibility of the Peel Waterways Institute.   

Busselton Bird Observatory and Wetland Experience - 2005

NBD with Evolve Solutions contributed to the exploration of the feasibility and evaluation of the most appropriate mix of tourism and other activities to create a sustainable economic future for the Busselton Bird Observatory.

Tourism WA, Tom Price Accommodation Assessment - 2006

NBD and Taktics 4 were appointed to assess the feasibility of a hotel development for Tom Price given existing and future tourism development scenarios.

Visitor Market Segmentation, WA Museum Reolcation Study, WA Museum - 2005

Research visitation of cultural centres around the world and analysies visitation to key WA attractions and then devised a market segmentation and expected visitation characteristics and evaluated these against four potential locations for a new museum.

Victoria Park Recreation Centre, Business Plan - 2005

NBD wrote a Business Plan to guide the launch of a new brand and new recreation centre for the community of Victoria Park.

Jurien Progress Association, Jurien Heritage Museum Feasibility - 2002

NBD in conjunction with David Dolan of Curtin’s Research Institute for Cultural Heritage explored the potential feasibility of creating a Museum in Jurien based on the farming heritage of the region. Following the market feasibility assessment, an interpretative centre was recommended with a focus on natural heritage and farming heritage in order to broaden its appeal.

Bibbulmun Track Foundation and CALM

NBD wrote a Business Plan to guide the establishment and operations of the Friends of the Bibbulmun Track (now Bibbulmun Track Foundation). This included writing a Business Plan to guide CALM’s management of the Track and a Memorandum of Understanding between CALM and the Friends of the Bibbulmun Track.
