“Jenny Nichol, as the lead consultant, developed the Tourism Strategy for Fremantle in 2009.

Soon after my appointment to the position of Manager Economic Development and Marketing with the City of Fremantle in June 2010 I assembled a highly competent team within the business unit and developed a plan to implement this Strategy.

Over the next two and a half years a significant majority of the Strategy was able to be implemented. As a consequence the City of Fremantle, in the 2012 Perth Airport Western Australian Tourism Awards, won the Silver Medal with high commendation, in the ‘Local Government Award for Tourism’ category of the Awards.

The Strategy developed by Jenny provided a sound direction for the City of Fremantle to follow, a direction that was responsible for the City’s success in the 2012 Awards.”
