Chidlow Army Camps - 2011 - 2012
NBD and Scott Watson Design developed an interactive visitor experience at the Chidlow Army Camps in Chidlow.
Guildford Heritage Precinct Interpretation Plan - 2009 - 2010
NBD and Scott Watson Design delivered an Interpretation Plan to guide interpretation of the highly valuable Swan Guildford Historical Society’s collection as well as the heritage listed buildings within the precinct and recommended a Regional Museum be developed within the Mechanic’s Institute.
City of Mandurah, Community Museum Interpretation Plan - 2009
NBD researched and prepared an Interpretation Plan for Mandurah Community Museum Precinct. A Style Guide was also completed for this project with Creative Spaces.
Outback Way - 2007 - 2008
NBD in conjunction with a team researched and wrote 32 interpretive panels, a Tourism Development Plan, a Guide Book and other tourism product to promote and enhance the Outback Way 4WD drive experience from Winton Qld to Laverton WA, Australia’s Longest Shortcut.
City of Armadale Interpretation Plan - 2007 - 2008
NBD researched and prepared an Interpretation Plan for Minnawarra Heritage Precinct, History House Museum and surrounding town. A Style Guide was also completed for this project with Creative Spaces.
Shire of Murray, Listening Post Project - 2005 - 2006
NBD wrote a series of scripts for audio sound tracks to interpret the history of three State Registered Heritage places in the Peel Region.
Rottnest Island Authority, Wind Turbine Energy Interpretation Project - 2003 - 2004
NBD researched and created a range of interpretive tools to enhance the visitor and tourist experiences associated with a Wind Turbine Energy project. NBD then completed a Precinct Concept Plan for the RIA relating to visitor access to the wind turbine precinct.
RAC WA, Travelling Centenary Exhibition, Design & Production - 2004 - 2005
NBD researched and created a $100,000 traveling exhibition to celebrate RAC’s centenary in WA. The Exhibition travelled to Wagin Woolorama, Dowerin Field Day, Perth Royal Show and Brunswick Show. The Exhibition won First Prize at Wagin Woolorama, Perth Royal Show and Brunswick Show.
City of Perth, Icons of influence Heritage Walk Trail - 2004
NBD completed a walk trail for the City of Perth, involving research and planning of sites to be included in walk trail and completion of brochure for visitor use. The walk trail is now publicly available.
Guildford and Swan Heritage Interpretation Project - 2002 - 2004
NBD prepared an Interpretation Plan for the conversion of an existing historic building into a Visitor and Interpretation Centre to communicate the heritage, food and wine values of Guilford and the Swan Valley to attract a tourist audience. Interpretation Plan was then implemented including research, signage interpretive panels and Style Guide for the Swan and Region Visitor Centre. Also completed a staff training manual and assisted with the walk trail.
